I enjoy doing both.  Nights in are lovely, but it's also great to get out of the house.

I'm the type that likes to stay in and my bf likes to go out. We do both, everybody is happy.

Depends on the relationship. If I'm dating someone I barely know, then keeping to neutral places outside of our homes is a better way to get to know them without sexual implications.

If it's an intimate relationship, it depends on timing. If we've been staying in too much lately, then going out helps to revive the feelings we developed for one another in public. But if we've been on a public whirlwind lately, then relaxing at home is the best reward.

Go out and then night in. The night is long, no reason why you'd need to choose...
