Slim Posted August 5, 2001 Posted August 5, 2001 I've been together with my gf for over eight years but we're starting to feel like the passion has gone. We're still good mates though and we do a lot of things together. Can anyone suggest of a good way to recreate passion in a long relationship?

And let your girlfriend hang out with the girls every now and then. Just being away from each other can help out. Every now and then, you two can plan a real "date" again, in case you two have gotten way too comfortable with each other. You didn't say whether you lived together or not. But whether you live together or not, go get ready and dressed up, then come back and pick her up. Bring her flowers. Go out to a nice restaurant. Maybe catch a movie afterwards or a stroll through the park. And then return home and have a passionate evening in each others' arms. Planning these types of romantic evenings usually stirs up the passion. But aside from that, be grateful that you two are so compatible with each other and such good mates. Or to really make a big change, you could ask her to marry you.
