oss91 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Went to dinner with my ex tonight and her family. Dinner was weird between her and I, but between everyone else it seemed fine. Thye all really want to keep me around. I told her we had to talk after dinner, and we did. I asked her, as an ex boyfriend and someone that wants to make sure I dont make the same mistake twice, one thing that I can improve upon. "Be more honest" was her response. FYI, I studied last year in Hong Kong and she was a freshman in college. I hooked up with a girl - after a few months what guy wouldn't - and wasn't honest with her about it. I never really tried to hide it, but always kind of just dodged the bullets, so to speak. And now because of that she is trying to get some revenge on me. We did talk for a while tonight, and the sparks are definitely still there. I am not going to do that again, and she knows it, but still all of a sudden some friends of hers showed up to take her out and she just left without a word. Sketchy I guess. After you've been broken up with a girl for a month, and she changes clothes in front of you and lets you suck on her tits for a while, you kind of think things might get back to normal. We'll see what happens. She's going back to school - 1.5 hours away - tomorrow. Feelings are there though.

You know, with an attitude like the one you have, I'd be doing the same thing as she. You dont even see where you went wrong. Wow. In a relationship, you have to give her respect, romance, affection and humor. I don't know how you did on the last three, but you dropped the ball bigtime on respect! Even if you were able to somehow get back with this girl, she is going to throw this up in your face every time you screw up. Move on. And next time, don't cheat.
