Oooo so that’s a big age gap!!!

while you’re probably thinking how much fun it would be -  I would leave her alone with her boyfriend.

she’s really only a kid.

I don't think that should be a problem, my eldest brother is 53, and his wife is 37. They have been together for 15 years, 2 children together. An uncle of mine is 75, and his wife is 52, they have been together for 27 years, 3 children.

And my soon-to-be ex is 7 years younger.

Sorry, a bit unclear, my brother and uncle are still together with their wives.

Possibly not I but if it was ME it would be too big of an age gap.   You’re at different life stages.

That's also one of the reasons I find it so strange

I suppose it’s up to you.

your current relationship would you mind if it ended?

No, absolutely not! My future ex has been a real b**** for a year now. Normally I am very faithful in a relationship. But we're breaking up anyway.

If that’s the case then and you don’t mind the age gap,  go for it.

I’m just curious why have you stayed for a year if she’s so bad?

That's because we have two children and an owner-occupied house together. I hoped for a long time that things would turn out well, but, that didn't happen

Oh right so it’s a serious relationship.

do you think it’s good for you to go straight from one relationship into another?

No, that's not the intention, because I don't even know if that young woman wants a relationship or something else!

I think I’d just end things with my current relationship have a little chill for a while and then see how it all goes
