Hi everybody. Im a 16 year old guy still at High School and I find it very hard to talk in big groups. I still manage talking, but thats when the group slowly starts to break away. For example I went to a party last week and we all sat on the same table, about 15 people. And there was this one guy I was sitting next to cracking jokes, etc and every1 was loving him, and I wanted to say something but it didnt come out. I eventually did, but by the time I said it the joke was already over.

Now in these groups, there were some pretty attractive girls. So could this be a fear that I am afraid of making myself look like a fool to them? A fear of rejection maybe?

What can I do to talk better in groups? In class Im always the one answering questions and asking questions, but outside of school I really have trouble talking in BIG groups. In smaller groups Im really socialable, but my problem of talking in big groups is really affecting me. HELP!

That seems like a manageable problem. Just avoid talking in big groups, and wait until you're more comfortable.
