l-_anthrax_-ljr Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 My Ex and I were in a relationship for about a year and half(ish), Then I made the stupidest and most irrational decision ever: I cheated on her. This was a one time thing, and I made it VERY clear to her that it wasn't EVER going to happen again. Then, fast forward to the present, she broke up with me about a week ish ago and now she made a post on FB of a picture of her with another guy captioned: Hard launch..? Now keep in mind, I am more than willing to do whatever i have to to get her back(if it's possible). This girl is the love of my life and she means everything to me and it's killing me to know that I was the one that messed it up. She broke up with me saying: I just don't love you the same, I'm tired of all the empty promises, etc. Is there anything, anything at all, I can do to get her to come back to me? Any tips?

Any tips? Nothing. She has made her decision. Don’t cheat in your next relationship(s). You’ve been given a harsh, but hopefully effective lesson: cheating never pays off.
semble Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 You sound like a very selfish person. You cheated because you wanted to. You want her back even though she's not interested. It's all about you and what you want. I'm thinking some self reflection is in order here.

She has moved on and dosn't like you that way anymore. Once that happens, there is nothing you can do. You need to put this behind you now. She already has.

Given her statement about all the empty promises, it seems like the cheating wasn't the only issue, but it's certainly enough to end it on its own. That being said, it's over. Move on and promise yourself to never cheat again.
