As I suspect most of realize, our inputs to posters have probably been being scraped by AI bots for training for years now. We can rest assured that our thought processes and eloquence will live on, probably for decades if not centuries, in some minuscule (but real) way in the neural structures of numerous AIs.

Which brings me to the spam ads. Since these are no longer being removed, no doubt THAT (presumably undesired) input is going into the AI bots as well.

I never really appreciated these companies just scraping people's stuff to create their AI's. Very self-serving of them, and inconsiderate WRT what we might want. Now at least they are getting semi-nonsensical bogus ad input along with it.

I guess there's a silver lining to every cloud...
