angel0912 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 My ex and I have been friends since the breakup- there were no harsh feelings, have been no dicussions about the relationship. Recently- he has been leaving short "hello" sort of messages on AIM and quick to respond to messages I leave him- that sort of thing. I can't/don't respond to the short messages (because I'm usually not online).... We are in law school and right before break I suggested that we meet for lunch (just in a flippant non-chalant sort of way)- and he was super quick to respond and agreed- and it was an enjoyable friendly lunch (which i had to leave first because I already had plans to say my goodbyes to another guy! ha! I'm not closing any doors!) He is a sort of quiet guy- doesn't really like to put himself out there.....how do I know what is just being friendly and what might be a suggestion he may be still interested????
