I've always felt it unfair that a woman getting over an ex simply needs to get out there and be receptive... As a man, I not only have to get over my ex, but I have to also go back into pursuit mode. That's why I've always believed that it takes men longer to get over women than vice-versa -- although we will rarely admit it!

It must be so much harder for a guy and THAT is probably why most men can seperate sex from feelings easier than most women can. If you have a pussy and a pulse it is pretty easy to get laid! Its not so easy to find Mr Right though. To get a connection with someone does not happen alot (for most of us anyway) and WHY does it always happen with the ones who mess us around? You know, I think Alpha is right and it chokes me to say this ... I think most of the lust and connection we feel for these men occurs because of our ego's. I don't, and never have, love myself (quite the opposite in fact) but I admit I do feel perturbed when a guy turns me down. Maybe the lust we feel really is triggered but the need to conquer and win the challenge.

Never will I be a FWB again and I will be as honest as the day is long with the next guy I 'connect' with! I will tell him what I want and if he doesn't want the same then I will move on before I get into it like I did last time!

Hey Rio -- I didn't mean to imply that you play games. However, once you have decided to move on, a decidedly popular tactic is to begin dating again. I was merely pointing out that in our culture, that is easier to do as a woman.

I heard alot about 'friendster' here in the forum...not a very good review of it, -but I went into it last night and signed up to it.....mainly to establish a means of contact from here...if you like, go to it and look for new members...I signed on in the wee hours of this morning. Same pic as here...(yes, that's REALLY me). You'll see other pics there to prove the connection, too. If this is out of line, they'll erase the post. I'll just wait for the results. -Rio
