Lorelei Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I did the breaking up - he was addicted to internet chatting and going on to dating sites etc and coupled with other issues we had I called it quits after three years. I really want to do the NC thing but we have property that needs to be sold and I can't let it wait as I do need the money which is substantial that I contributed. He keeps dragging it on and on (this has been going on for two months now) and I just want to finish everything up so I can move on. I have managed to sort out everything else but this is still going on. Are there any ways to cope when you still need to contact on 'official' business - when we communicate I am trying to not be mean etc as I don't want him to shut off altogether and drag this out any longer (he is delusional as he thinks we will get back together as he never takes seriously anything I say) but this is getting to be really frustrating when I just want to move on and not dwell on the three years I wasted on this jerk. Help!
