LN8840K Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 sent flowers to a " friend " ........ everything was positive and conversation up beat, no friend speeches or anything ..... but at one point in the convo she said " you shouldnt send me things like that " when I asked her why she said " because it's a waste of your time and of your money " so I'm thinking damn.......did I just run a red light, I could have swore it was green a minute ago merry christmas

I'll bet that she thinks the flowers were too much too soon.. it turned her off.. Sending a woman flowers you don't know that well isn't always taken as a romantic gesture.. Sometimes to some people it is crossing the line.. That is what I think she felt.. you crossed the line Let her go
Author LN8840K Posted December 24, 2005 Author Posted December 24, 2005 I have known her quite a while and normally, she is not the type to sugarcoat things ...that was the only uh oh about the conversation .... a realtionship with this girl was progressing, then I got scared and I told her I was moving, then thought it would be a good idea to disappear for 2 weeks, after re-surfacing thinking her desire for me would have increased, she dumped me on my ass ..... I told her I loved her ( I do, I just get scared and then run ) we started talking again then I told her I wanted to be friends and thought we should date other people, she did not dig that much and quit talking to me ... Then I decided to be honest and tell her that I had deep feelings for her, but get scared and my crazy behavior would calm down. so we started talking again So the flowers were more of a sorry for everything, I care for you and I'm trying to be consistent with my intent gesture ........ but I could have very well been sentenced to a life in Hell I mean the friendzone ...I think females are born with a friendship gene and most of the time a females first words are not momma or dada but " lets be friends " merry christmas happy chanuka

Wow, thats a interesting story there. Most likely she was over you after the first time you ran, hence her comments about you wasting your time and money. So I would say you did run a red light, and my adivce would be to not go down that street again (e.g., forget about her romantically). ]most likely the flowers did it..I'll bet that she thinks the flowers were too much too soon.. it turned her off.. I would like to point out that the flowers here, as I believe they are in 99% of cases, were really just a temperature taker of an already existing condition. If a girl truly likes/has a crush on a guy, she won't care if she just met him yesterday....she's going to appreciate a gift like flowers.

I have a one track mind and sometimes to my demise and sometimes not, I usually won't give up .........persistence from a distance .... I do however think if it were totaly dead she would not be responding at all. in this case I am going to continue the pursuit with space of course untill I marry her or she tells me to go away, whatever comes first ..... did not mean to waste anyone's time Happy holidays
