Outcast Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I live in a place that's pretty much green year-round. I spent most of my life in places where there was snow at Christmas. So I'm imprinted with snow=Christmas. The absence of snow leaves me feeling totally un-Christmasy.
JadeStar Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I am kinda sorta, LOL:p For some reason I'm not into it as much as I have been in the past. Not sure why because I'm not under as much stress as in the past. I think part of it was the fact our kids really didn't give us alot to go on as far as things they wanted. So its more of a guessing game for presents for them, where as last year they told us more what they would like to have. Jade

tanbark813 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I am covered with the sticky sweetness of the holiday spirit. I have Christmas lights up in my apartment, picked up a juniper I dubbed "Jules the Juniper", have pumpkin pie scented candles lit when I'm home, and have "Christmas With The Rat Pack" cued up in my car. Bring it, Santa!

slubberdegullion Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I cannot bear Christmas. bah, humbug, etc. I'm trying to start a trend, whereby Christmas is celebrated once every four years, like the Olympics. Who's with me??

NYCmitch25 Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I generally feel generous all year around...
ziggue Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I get two weeks off after this Friday maybe that's why I feel a little bit of the christmas spirit. .

Who's with me?? I'm with you! can't wait for it to be over. every year! the only good thing about it is that it's in mid summer (here) and we get some days off ..so normally is work slows down a bit and can have a re-charge batteries time.

Who's with me?? Brilliant Idea! We are skipping the holiday this year.... this will be year 6 or 7 I have not joined in reindeer games. Too much work..... too little time. However I did ask for a camel for my gift this year. I always want strange and expensive gifts I prefer Halloween...... favorite holiday! a4a- do you smell that?
slubberdegullion Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 However I did ask for a camel for my gift this year. A camel? I prefer Marlboro myself...
a4a Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 No I do mean a real camel....... now it is much harder to smoke than a marlboro.....hell just getting the damn thing lit is a serious pain in the ass, they tend to spit on your lighter when you try to get them to burn. I elect the camel to be the new Happy Holidays mascot! You just cannot be in a bad mood when you look at one.......they make ya' cheery! a4a

Why does anyone really want a camel, aren't they nasty animals?
