Try not to be upset when you notice that one hot girl has lost interest in you and has gone for the * whale * which means GUY with big MONEY. If this should happen to you and she is headed for the richer guy , then keep your chin up because there is always an endless supply of more gold diggers at the bar that you can convince yourself of a lasting relationship ( longer than 2 hours or before the happy hour is over - whichever comes first . )

Because they should have enough ethics to know that lying and manipulation is wrong. It seems a lot of people, especially here, lack in ethics.

I've got to agree with Alpha on this one. If you guys are looking to go to a bar and hook up with a gold digger - then that is exactly how to do it.

 

I am more of a "guys' girl" so generally my friends are mostly guys, etc. I am completely amazed at the stories they tell me of women at certain bars who first look at their watches, then their shoes, etc to determine their net worth. To be candid it is horrifying. If this is how these girls determine who they are going home with on any given night - then they get what they deserve!

 

I say in this instance the guys are only playing the hand they are dealt by these scheming, superficial women who themselves have absolutely no ethics themselves.

 

Have said all of the above - I do not believe this applies to the whole of woman-kind.

Js , thats just it, no one person gets to write the rules of ethics and morals. Not you or me or Bob down the street .We all have our own set. Certainly their is a set "limit" that most of society will agree on , but its like a bar and most people no matter what they do, are still above the bar , in society as a whole. I wouldent want to be judged by certain peoples moral values or what they see as ethical , those are not my standars.And I'm sure you wouldent either.

 

Now on the post, yes those are GP rulez. Im sure they attract a certain type of woman .Just as I'm sure Alphas do also .And Tudrs, and Slubs, or Arts. They all attract types of women based on their outlooks and behaviors and no two women are allike.

I think the 'morality' bar has run smack dab up against the overfocus on the so-called 'right to choose' (a right that never existed) wherein people seem to believe that they are entitled to anything and everything that makes them happy and that puts their happiness above the wellbeing of everyone else. So now we see posters arguing that they are entitled to sleep with other people's partners if it makes THEM happy.

 

Selfishness was never a commendable quality, however when it became a popular idea that people who give to others are 'doormats' (because some definitely are; witness the 'nice guy' threads), sacrifice became a bad word as everyone rushed to get theirs in fear of becoming 'doormats'.

women have been doing it for thousands of years...lying and manipuation were the only source of power women had for many centuries. ergo,they are very adept at it. its a matter of survival for them.

Well we have a guy on here that argued all of the excuses to make rape ok. I don't think anyone came back saying it was moral to think or act that way.

 

I think even those that cheat, lie and manipluate would be hard pressed to come back and say it is the "right" thing to do. They may come back and say that they don't care or it doesn't mean anything, take a neutral stance but I haven't yet seen someone come back and say it is "right" that they do these things. I'm no saint, I've lied before and I think that what I did was wrong and unethical but I can recognize that as such.
