loony Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 This is a spin off from another thread about players. I was wondering what kind of guy women would really like to date? You can choose between two characters from the Bridget Jones films. Who would it be the quiet and decent Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) or the cocky and funny Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant)? Me: Definitely Marc Darcy
Outcast Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Oh Darcy - both in Jones and in Pride and Prejudice
Author loony Posted December 12, 2005 Author Posted December 12, 2005 Ah, I just got it. I didn't know he always appeared in 'Pride and Prejudice". Then lindya was talking about this 'Mr Darcy' and not the other guy in the Bridget Jones films. Makes sense why she made the reference to Jane Austen. Did I say already that Colin Firth is really cute?
lindya Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Mr Darcy, of course. Cleaver and Wickham were slimy toads.
ReluctantRomeo Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Is this another nice guy vs bad boy thread, but with an intellectual disguise?
newbby Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 ideally d'arcy but i think there are psychological reasons for falling in love that no amount of logic can change.
country gal Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 i'd definately be very attracted to both at first but after very short conversation would rule out cleaver.... had enough of his brand! darcy it is! besides, he likes her just as she is!
denny45 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 darcy definitely. Hes so sexy but a bit uptight in bridget jones. could i change him?? He was so sexy in Pride and Prejudice when he climbed out of that lake!! I could die...........
