chickenleggs Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Its now been 7 weeks since my ex ran off with her boss from work (he is married -17years and has 3 kids). I dont know whats happening between them but she has been texting me every day asking me to go for a coffe with her because she misses me and cant imagine life without me etc etc. Now i have always been polite to her, but have refused to meet her and made various excuses, as i dont think it would be good for me. She texted me 2 days ago saying : "Its not going to happen is it? Lets be honest here!" I just replied saying , im not being funny i just need my own space now. I havent heard from her at all for 2 days now, do you think she will get back to me or do you think thats it? I am sure things are not working out between her and her married man but she wouldnt tell me of course. I know im best to stay away, i do care about her but i also have to think of myself.But i dont like the thought of ever hearing from her again, what do you think, is she just using me incase it doesnt work out with the married man??

You say she has been texting you everyday, but you refuse to meet her and have made various excuses. Naturally now that she's giving up on you, you don't like the thought that you may never hear from her again. What do you expect to happen here??? Do you want her to keep contacting you so that you can continue to refuse to meet her with more excuses? Figure out what you want first. If you want to hear from her again then why are you refusing to meet her? roadx
