country gal Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 I just went on a dinner date with a man .... heres the background.... He's been flirting wiht me for a long time and so I finally made a move on him figuring maybe hes just shy. So I gave him my number and he called with plans for a nice fancy dinner. Last night was dinner night... It was great. We talked for 2 hours and I really enjoyed his company and he seemed to really enjoy mine. He even suggested that we split a dessert which worked very well to make it even more intimate for us. However, the date just ended right after dinner. I was home by 8 frickin thirty. Whats that all about? Not that I would have gone home wiht him but how about suggesting going for drinks - or something- anything. Should I be concerned? He did kiss me good night - went straight for the tongue though (turn off!) but I'm willing to excuse that - hey some people need coaching. He said he would definately call before he goes away and he wants to see me before he leaves as well. Hes leaving for Europe in like 2 weeks and going for 2 1/2 months (found htat out over dinner). Does anyone else find this strange? I dont know, he doesnt generally seem to play by the rules htat I am used to. Any thoughts?
