My bf just confessed his feelings towards me about a week ago. The minute he said it I got really nervous. I do love him too but its like i freeze up. I give a blank stare like a deer in the headlights look and he repeated it 3 times before I even said anything. I knew this day was coming soon. I could feel our talks and time together was getting a little more intimate on an intellectual level and the way he looked at me and touched my hair and face...I could see that he did or atleast was starting to fall in love. He has only said it twice since then...both times while we were buzzed...but far from drunk. I think he's nervous with it too. Its not like I am afraid of getting my heart broke...its more that I am afraid of the problems relationships have. the stress and aggrivation. Granted we havent had any arguments yet...but give it time. who doesnt. Do any of you feel this way when you love someone? or does it just come out as naturally as saying I love this dinner or i these shoes?

We haven't said it yet.

I feel as though it might be a stressor in the relationship. Not saying it is holding us back from moving forward. But I am also afraid of moving forward, you know? I imagine he is too.

Didn't feel this difficult when I was younger - more carefree!
