If you did, have they cheated on you again #1) If I still loved my ex , and they had cheated no I could not be friends with them. #2) I would not go back with them under any circumstances b/c once that degree of trust is broken , I am unable to overcome future doubt.

I tried this as well. She wasn't willing to go to a relationship counselor. I had to "twist her arm" just to go to one session, but after that, she was not interested in going back or to gain my trust to her. 3. N/A

I would because everone makes mistakes, and I would say that being just friends is actually what we should have been all along and taht I am happy to finally get a chance to move on with my love life. (that will confuse them) 2. In order to go back you must trust them totally, if you do not, and go back because you feel you need them it will never work. You need to first realize that you don't need them you only want your ex because it is what you are use to the companionship. You must first battle the demons that haunt your mind before you could ever consider a reconciliation. 3. Who knows? Never caught anyone, but I ended up just stopping the relationship because I realized I did not need them and that I could not get over the trust issues.

I did stay friends with my ex after he cheated and I didn't work too well 2. I went back with my ex after he cheated without gaining full trust and this further damaged an already broken relationship because I could no longer trust him and he wasn't trying to gain my trust back. 3. I don't know if he cheated again, but I wouldn't put it past him
