NightsEcho Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Hey all my fellow LS members, As some you know, I have been on these boards for about 9 months. If you don't know my case please read back, if you do....well you been here for awhile like me;) Quick Recap: 3 1/2 year relationship, ended almost 9 months ago, due to her cheating....she moved on fast. Tried to be friends...that tanked. Continued in Contact until September.....since then NC. With extended periods of NC in between. I acted totally like I shouldn't after the breakup.....but she wasent helping things much herself. Led me on, mixed messages, just so much BS its crazy. Anyway, I feel like I am moving on, really I do, dont think about her as much, been dating, been crushing on other girls. Anyway, at our last correspondance, she said she was moving November 25...So now why do I feel the need to contact her just to say "hi" I guess I miss her as a person....and I know there are many.....and I dont expect much.....but I wouldn't mind just hearing how someone in my life that was so importent is doing these days. So I wanna leave it up to you guys lol......Contact or No Contact........Help me decide. God Bless NE
pippen_2k Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Na I wouldnt bother Nightsecho. I look at it this way.. What could you possibly achieve out of contacting her one last time before she leaves?.. either... a) She will agree to meet up with you before she goes. You have a great time and past emotions come flooding back? ( You dont want that ) b) She gives you a sweet meaningless text message, saying all the things you wanna hear. ( If you really did mean that much she would be with you or would organise time to be with you ). c) You get no response at all. ( Ouch ) These are the scenerios I came up with cause im going through a similar situation as you, except im the one moving in 10 days time. Ive often considered messaging or calling her just 1 last time to say goodbye, but then I tell myself whats the point of that.
