His Girl Friday Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 We broke up almost four weeks ago and I've been heartbroken. My world was completely wrecked. The problem then was that I kept calling him to get him to talk it out. 2 weeks later he introduces himself to a rebound girl, and he's bitter and gloating to me to hurt me now. The things is I want my stuff back. I've deleted his numbers and messages and all forms of contact so I don't have any temptations to call him. He won't talk to me other than to yell at me anyway. I go to school and don't live near him, so what do I do? Is it ok to send him a message with my address on it and tell him to mail me my stuff? I know he doesn't want to see me or probably hear from me. There's so many things I'd say to him to tell him to get over himself but he just won't hear it. I want to be over him, but the pain keeps lingering on as strong as it was the day all of this happened. What do I do?
solsta Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 unless he has something of yours that is REALLY irreplaceable..... chalk it up to a loss. In some small way you may be subconsciously looking for an excuse to be in contact with him, and that is normal. However it's not going to help you. Hey, and maybe him having a few of your things will remind him of what an a**h*** he's acted like!
SMHappyface Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Over the past three years I have bought my ex-fiance almost 5-6 thousand dollars of stuff and he's bought me about 1.5. Anyways, since him cheating on me and leaving me, he hasn't given anything back, except about $300 from our savings account. I wrote him a nice e-mail telling him what I thought was fair and he just called me, yelled at me and said I didn't need it and he's using it. Lesson learned? Ass-holes aren't gunna fight fair. Tell your ex-jerk what you want and then give it up - If he won't give it back, move on. He probably wants to make you as misserable as he is and a stupid control thing. Don't gravel, he's trying to make u do that. Take the high road and move on. You don't need him or his things back THAT bad anyways.
slubberdegullion Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Hire a couple of thugs to go get the stuff.
