Forever Searching Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Ok, I have a slight issue with my new guy. Only together about a month and at first things were great but lately we are starting to have some problems and I'm wondering what to make of things. I had a previous post on here about how I messed up with him but we seemed to have gotten past that episode and he said that he doesn't want to break up with me. The only thing is he still seems distant more so than he was at first and I've explained how I feel to him and I'm trying to give him some space and everything but its just getting sooooo hard. Why would he not want to break up but still act distant. He won't talk about anything either. IT's almost impossible to communicate with him. I don't know if that's just him or what. I know he's having a really bad day today and he's pissed off over things that have nothing to do with me and he's been stressed out but he won't come out and say that's what's making him act the way he is. So I guess what I'm asking is do some guys just act this way when they are stressed out and having some problems with their own personal life? He keeps assuring me things are ok with us so do I just sit back and let him come to me or what? Because when I don't call him and he calls me all the time he gets mad at me for that.
Author Forever Searching Posted November 26, 2005 Author Posted November 26, 2005 I can't figure out how to put my previous thread in here but to make a long story short, I ended up drinking too much and kind of got emotional on him because I was feeling insecure. I apologized for it and he said it was fine and we've seen each other since then and things have been fine when we are together and back to normal but then when we are not together he just doesn't call as often of "seem" to put as much effort into talking to me like he used to but he has been under a lot of stress lately at work esp. this week and he's having financial troubles. Today he even said again when I had the little emotional breakdown it was rough but since things are back to normal again he's fine with us. I don't know maybe I'm reading too much into things I tend to do that. Maybe if I just relax he'll come around?
