LN8840K Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I don't want things to get complicated .... what does that usually mean to you ?
westernxer Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Who's saying this to you? And what lead them to say it?
Author LN8840K Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 I was reading a post were someone said they did not want things to get complicated ..........and I started to think back to when I have heard it and the relationship did not work out in the end and now im wondering...what it really meant .... I have not used that line
CoolAunt Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 It means "I want to dump you." Yeah. It's a BS excuse...meaningless words.
Author LN8840K Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 so someone saying " I don't want things to get complicated " meaningless words .....something to fill space..........can't tell ya the real reason I think the only time it gets complicated is when someone says this : whats complicated about " hey its over " or " hey its on "
whichwayisup Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I don't want things to get complicated .... 1)They are seeing someone else. 2)They aren't into you. 3)They have some problems, or aren't over a previous relationship, so therefore can't handle a new relationship starting with feelings. The fear of getting too close. 4)It's just that. Keep things slow and let it happen as it happens...
Author LN8840K Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 anyone else have anything to add to this or have used this line ?
Yamaha Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Means they only want a casual relationship ( probably friends only ). They don't want to put the work into building a real relationship so you are just not worth it, to them. Could be fear or various forms of phobia. If you want closeness then they are not for you.
funch Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Means they only want a casual relationship I use this all the time. Basically I'm saying that I'm not looking for anything serious or exclusive. Friends is ok, friends with benefits is better. But I don't want a monogamous relationship right now.
