Lilly Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 My ex bf left some of his things at my house when we broke up. I would take them and put them outside the front door of his apt. but I'm afraid they might get stolen. Also, he lives in an apt. complex where you need a card or code to get in the gate which I don't have. Should I call him and tell him to come pick up his things at my house and then set them outside? I just don't want to have to call him though. I can't leave a message on his machine because I don't know when to call that he would not be at home and answer the phone. He is at home for a few weeks due to having surgery on his knee.
Author Lilly Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 One more thing. I don't have his e-mail address. He never gave it to me.
CoolAunt Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 You could put them in a box and send them to him via post or UPS. It'll cost you a few $$$ but you won't have to talk to him. Or...since he's not too worried about his stuff, maybe you shouldn't be worried about it, either. Toss it or give it to Goodwill.
cplfun13 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I agree, if he wants it he will come to you. Box it and put it up for now:p .
goingforgold Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Does he have a close trustworthy friend or relative that you could give them to pass onto him?? The only other thing i can think of is to Write a letter and tell him to arrange something with them within a certain time frame or else just throw them out. He obviously cant be missing them to much since he hasnt come back to get them.
