lifeline Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I am new to this site, and find it both sad and comforting to see so many other people going through the same thing as I am. I have been involved with a MM for three years. We have a lot of contact. We are close colleagues and frequently travel on business together. Both of us have long commutes, so we spend time on the phone--about three hours a day. We are best friends He told me from the very beginning that he could never leave his wife. The reasons don't matter. If we didn't work together, I think I could tear myself away, but I don't know how to break it off and deal with him every day. Should I quit? I really like my job, and feel lucky to have it. We are the light of each other's life. We are partners, both at work and in our hearts. How can I give this up, yet how can I continue indefinitely?
