well, this may seem like a strange question, but it's been bothering me.

my ex-gf broke up with me just a little over a month ago, and i haven't spoken to her since 11/6.

i've been experiencing this pretty intense anxiety, butterflies-in-the-stomach, public speaking nervousness that i get when i start feeling down. it's been like that for a few weeks now.

i'm 28, and this is my first real heartbreak, as it is my first relationship. i have had moderate depression for a long time, but i have never had "nervous" symptoms. my grieving and depression has always been a downer, not a stimulating thing.

i don't understand this, and am wondering if this is a normal experience.

Malachai,

I know the feeling of having someone let go of something, that I thought was special. Your feelings are normal I felt numb for two straight months. I am at my third month of the breakup and no contact whatsover since the breakup. Your feelings are perfectly normal. Just don't let them over take you. Go out have some fun, meet other women...After you look back years have passed by and you have found that special someone. Relax, visualize, pray if you have to..let her go, they don't derserve us. Hope this helps...
