BigB Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I've never really though about how young is too young (other than what's legal ), I've always dated girls who were about the same age as me. But last week a 19 year old hit on me a little (I'm 27)... kinda surprised me... I don't know how serious she was. My first instinct was that she's waaaaay to young, but then I thought about a buddy of mine who's 27, and he's been dating a 20 year old girl for over a year now... So, in your opinion, what's too young? It would seem to me that as you get older, age difference becomes less of an issue. A 30 year old dating a 45 year old isn't all that un-common.. but an 18 year old and 23 year old could be in very different places in their lives.... Discuss!!
konfuzd Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I'm 24, and the guy I'm currently interested in is 34. Initially we both were a little reluctant, but by the end of our first date, we agreed that we had too much in common to let a number screw it up... *he apparently decided to screw it up for some other undetermined reason, but that's another issue* Go with what you both have to offer eachother in terms of a potential relationship, and forget about the particular date her parents made sweet, sweet love and brought her into this world... for the love of Pete, please don't think that, it's rather disturbing!!! have fun, she's 19, it's not illegal.
Author BigB Posted November 19, 2005 Author Posted November 19, 2005 yeah, gotta wait and see if she was serious first, knowing young girls she might have just been joking around. The mildly creepy part is that I have 3 younger sisters, and she's younger than 2 of them
konfuzd Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Haha... my best friend is 30, and my old rule was that I couldn't date anyone older than him. It is really strange, but you only really see that initially, once you form a bond with someone it completely slips your mind.
