Tallie Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I have been seeing a guy for over a year, but he's been working out of the country for most of the relationship. Now after all this waiting he is finally comming home. Even though I am happy that this is finally happening I don't know wheather I should run or stay...I love him but for some reason the reality of him not leaving after a while is scaring the life out of me. I don't know I don't want to lose him I just don't know how to handle this sudden change. I have other relationships in which I saw them almost every day. And the main reason why we split up was that I got borred or they did and I ended up making plans for nothing.\
Outcast Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Wait until he gets home to make any decisions.
Judas Christian Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Relax and see what happens. No point being hasty if you don't have other relationships going on (and it sounds like you don't). Therefor, you've nothing to lose by giving it a shot.
iceblue78 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Take it slowly, and it will all come together. You need to keep seperate lives for a while, and slowly spend more time together. If you go from only seeing him for short periods of time straight to spending every moment together, you (and he) are probably going to burn out quickly. You two need to get to know each other again, almost like a new relationship.
