NoFaith05 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I'm just wondering if I could get some feedback on this one. People act a certain way when they feel guilty, don't they? Some people (the good ones) feel bad for what they have done. They show remorse, and apologize to their friend, relative, GF or BF. Then there are the bad apples- those we have dated, who put on an act in order to impress us, then became incredibly cold and mean when they left us. I noticed this from my recent ex. Any attempt I made to be friendly (I was the one who got dumped) was met with anger, and spite. Do people react this way because they don't want to feel guilty for what they have done? She refuses to admit to any wrong doing (even though every single one of our friends think that she has treated me badly). Is this how selfish people respond to guilt? It's really not fair to good people like us. We don't deserve to be treated in this manner.
