Well I want this to be a place to just come ramble at yourself. For uplifting self-talk. So I’ll start it off.

Get over it. I will. It’s going to take time but I will overcome this. Sometimes I will hurt. I will think positively often, as this will help me. The waves will come, I will duck the bad ones and ride the good ones like they've never been ridden before.

I am great, and someone will see that greatness in me. My life was good before my loss and I will use it as motivation to improve even more.

For the guys having trouble getting back out there this is helping me:

-When you learn to allow others to say "no" and not become upset by it, you get two rewards: (1) you are less upset, and (2) you tend to ask others more often for what you want. (If you don't experience "no" as a rejection, then there's no fear of rejection.)

-In baseball, the very best hitters only get three hits every ten times at bat. And guess who has the all-time strike-out record? Babe Ruth.

-If one-third the people you ask say yes, you are doing very well. Even if only one in 100 says yes, that's one more than you would have had without asking.

This sounds like a pep talk for a group of obnoxious salesmen.

You may be right but it seems like "selling yourself" is what the singles scene is becoming theese days anyhow.

The point being if you don't try you can't have success.

I was trying to inspire thoose like me who can have trouble 'killing the bunny'

~ Yeah, man just kinda... you know, you got these claws and you're staring at these claws and your thinking to yourself, and with these claws you're thinking, "How am I supposed to kill this bunny, how am I supposed to kill this bunny?"

~ And you're poking at it, you're poking at it...

~ Yeah, you're not hurting it. You're just kinda gently batting the bunny around, you know what I mean? And the bunny's scared Mike, the bunny's scared of you, shivering.

~ And you got these f.ucking claws and these fangs...

~ And you got these f.ucking claws and these fangs, man! And you're looking at your claws and you're looking at your fangs. And you're thinking to yourself, you don't know what to do, man. "I don't know how to kill the bunny." With *this* you don't know how to kill the bunny, do you know what I mean?

~ You're like a big bear, man.
