Bellona Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Last time I was on this forum, I was wondering about a long-distance relationship. I decided it was healthier to move on and enjoy my new life in a new city. Part of that new life -- after some time alone to accept being alone again -- has been dating. I went out on a third date with a guy last night. He's witty, intelligent, we have a lot in common, and I find him extremely attractive. I thought that he wouldn't call me back after our first outing, but we went out a second time a few days later and he kissed me goodnight. Apart from an extremely awesome (and long) set of goodnight kisses last night, we don't have a lot of major physical contact. I'm a person whose affections are never in doubt because I display this physically, but I haven't made many moves wtih him because I can't peg what's on his mind. I am having difficulty deciphering what he's thinking about me, and I'm usually aggressive but now I'm maintaining a further stance. Is this guy just shy or wants to take things slow? I don't mind slow at all because you know that people are seeing you more than just a piece of meat.
