He dumped me a while ago, but after no contact we now are in a position where we are forced to see each other everyday. things were fine, and I sent him a letter saying I was so glad things seemed to be okay, but he ignored the letter. He also ignored two other things i did nicely for him that week. but for whatever reason, he continues to stare at me, talk about me incessantly to his friends, and he and his friends exchange little glances going "that's her" when I walk by, but its not in a mean way because his friends are largely my friends too and have never treated me differently or acted like he had said anything bad about me. In fact they say if he does talk about me, its all neutral or good. My friends have said that he also finds ways to find out about what I'm up to without ever asking about me, but he'll ask around me....which makes no sense, but it does. Ever since the I'm glad we're friends thing, he doesn't go out of his way to talk to me anymore, but he will initiate a hi, but if I initiate a conversation, he'll willingly participate. I asked him if we could talk in an e-mail and I expected him to ignore it. He wrote back saying he would talk to me in a little bit, but he needed to sort things out, but he never wanted me to feel like he was ignoring me. WTF? So he can ignore a "let's just be friends" letter, but nothing else? weird. I know no one here can tell me what's going on, but to me it seems a bit odd and backward. In fact, I even got stared at hardcore to an uncomfortable point today. And yes, we were in a very serious relationship, but he claimed (at the time, he has never made this claim again) that he had moved on a month after our break-up, but I kind of doubt the legitimacy of it.
