DeaconL Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 How would a guy know if a girl that agrees to go out to a restaurant or bar with you is considering it a date or just as a friendly thing? Do you ladies give certain hints in your response to make it clear? How have you made it clear to your just guy friends when they ask, and how is that different from when you like someone?
elijahBailey Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 all date-dates started out as friendly dates. You gotta to do a few more of those to be sure where you are.
oh_what_am_I_doing Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I think it would depend on how long you've known that person. If someone I just met were to ask me out, then I assume it would be a date. If someone I knew for awhile were to ask me to go out to a bar, I would probably assume he meant just as friends until he sent me a signal telling me otherwise (flowers, opening car doors for me, etc). I think also how many people tag along could be a signal. If it's just the two of you, it's more datish. Also body language plays a big part- if she touches your arm or shoulder gently, she's into you and is on a date with you.
