It was just a mutual thing, the time we go has to do with the tides, etc. By late this yesterday they were speaking again, yay.

Glad things are sorted out now!

I mean, personally, I can very much identify with him not wanting to get out of bed - waking up at 6.30am sounds like the absolute worst way to spend a Sunday in my books. :laugh:  But, that's why I would never agree to do that. If he knows that he doesn't like waking up early, then he should have said something during the discussion, not just flaked on the day itself. Hopefully in the future he'll be able to think about stuff like that ahead of time.

From the sounds of it they’re very familiar with one another and this has probably happened many times. They’ve known one another since high school. Did your partner apologize as you suggested? Glad they’re speaking again.
