I Feel So..Confused..

I'm so confused because I have no idea what's going on with my boyfriend and constantly thinking about whats up with him is driving me crazy. First he's about 8 years older than me, I'm 20 he's 28. Recently he just stopped talking to me. We've been going out since July spend weekends together I see him like 3-4 times within the week and have really gotten closer. I've been introduced to his friends, he knows my family and so everything has been going great. We have dinner together sometimes, lunch and plan little getaways. This past weekend I decieded to see some friends out of town and I left him a message friday evening telling him what I was doing and he should call me back. He hasn't at all..i never recieved a text or any sort of message at all from him the whole weekend.

 

I thought maybe because I didn't contact him to see how he's doing during the weekend because he's been having trouble with his business....that he's mad at me and not getting back to me. I think this is the first weekend er have ever gone without speaking to each other..and not even sending a little text to make sure everything is okay. I called him yesterday left a message saying he he should call me back since we didn't talk during the weekend and I want to see how things are going with him. Still nothing..I'm starting to think maybe he's avoiding me to break up with me but he's such a straight forward person he would tell you up front if there was a problem. Am I just overreacting or is something really wrong.

 

The last time we were actually together was last week Thursday but it ended badly that night due to an issue of trust on one subject...but then he contacted me friday morning to tell me he was going to be in a meeting and my older sister talked to him during the weekend and said that nothing seemed wrong with him. He was with a bunch of his friends and was happy go lucky. So yea I have no idea whats going on..I would think that since he's older he would tell me straight that it isn't working, plus that's the type of person he is.....there's mroe but this is just the jist of it..someone please help me clear my head.

 

The other time he's actually acted this way was when he was mad at me for not telling him where I was during the weekend and he was very worried because I just didn't get in contact with him or responded to his many messages. He didn't talk to me for 2-3 days i think..before he finally told me that he was mad that I sounded so cheerful on the phone after he was worried sick....I'm really hoping maybe he's just busy with his bussiness but at the same time it doesn't take much to send a quick hello..he always has his phone on him and checks his messages like crazy so I don't know whats wrong.
