You've been dating for 2 days?  How old is she? Have you gone on a date?

There is no hard and fast rule that applies to every relationship.

However, it‘s definitely a step up from something like „I like you“ or „You‘re cute“ or even „I want to kiss you“, so I think you should wait until you have really lived in the relationship for a time. You know, once you have created some memories together, once you have become a regular part of each other‘s daily life and being with her doesn‘t feel new any more.

To many people, me included, the word „love“ conveys deeper feelings than just the initial attraction, which one can quickly and easily develop towards lots of people. The word conveys something that should feel more earned, less easy to come by. Hence, I think that saying „I love you“ too early may come across as insincere, because you haven‘t given your relationship enough time yet to honestly gauge whether your feelings are actually that deep. (Again, this is not the same as feeling attracted to her in the initial stages of dating or of a relationship.)

In my last relationship, it took us a couple of months to say „I love you“.

I was just ask what should I say to my new girlfriend? I love you how long is your take ask

I used to say things like „I like you“ or „I like you a lot“, or maybe „You‘re a great woman“.

Be careful though. Don‘t drown her in compliments, give her room to breathe. If you like her and think she is special, there are other ways of showing that: be considerate, be affectionate, treat her well, maybe surprise her from time to time, try to make her feel good, comfortable, relaxed, and maybe make her laugh. All of this can be equally important as words, because talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words, and women know that, too. 😉

What does * I love you * mean to you?

I know a woman that would say ILY to her guy after 2-3 dates. Her lLY means she is excited and feeling giddy.

My *I love you* means l want to spend the rest of my life with you, l will love you, support you through eveything life throws at us.

So again: what your *ILY* means?

Why are you asking this or worrying about this when you have been dating her literally two days?  This is not something that you should be worrying about at this point.  It's a long way off. Do you have any experience with dating?

First you'll need to get to know her very well.  Only then will you know whether you have fallen in love.  I think that might take a minimum of 6 months and probably longer.

Then you will need to think about when and how to let her know, which is a whole different question.

But now, you don't even know her - so you don't love her now either.

Have you been dating in person? How did you meet?

What do you love about her?

After only 2 days I don't think it's love.

It's way too soon.

I think you may be infatuated by her and mistaking it for love.

There are no rules on when to say it.

You say that you've been dating for two days.  But how long have you known her for?   Perhaps you've known her for a year and have fallen in love with her over that time.
