We broke up 1 month ago we were together 3 years. It was more my fault because i got scared when i bought the engagement ring.I started to question everything and at the end we broke up.Since then I started to regret and tried to get her back together but she told me that for now it is not possible. It was not a bad break up she is still texting me from time to time but not like before. She has already move on going out and stuff, I want to do the same but I just cant.I think about her all the time.If you have any advice i would appreciate it.Thank you for reading!

I get the feeling that there is more to this than just you getting scared.

If this RS ended as quickly and easily as you suggest, then it was probably not going to last anyway. It sounds as if she may have been considering other options before this event even happened.

Moving forward on your next RS, remember everything is temporary and ALL relationships end. Try not to participate from a place of attachment and grasping. You are the only one who can provide your own happiness and peace of mind. If you give this power away, you can guarantee you will experience this over and feel this way again! Learn from it!

This is bad advice.

Not ALL relationships end so that's completely wrong.

Sorry this happened. Trust your instincts. Apparently this wasn't the right woman/relationship for you.

It's better to break an engagement and set both yourselves free than to begrudgingly coast along.

Try to let go. After 3 years together you already know you're not compatible. Try to close the chapter rather than living in remorse and fear.
