Angelina1433 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 So there is this man that I've been interested in for a long, long time. He expressed that he couldn't date me for valid reasons about a month ago - so I did the NC thing (we work together, he's superior to me - not my boss, and he is seeing another woman, though he claims not seriously). I haven't seen or talked to him for weeks. Then all of a sudden, he starts emailing me and coming over to talk to me - being very friendly. What does this mean? Is it because I have been ignoring him that he wants me again? Or is he just an ego maniac who wants everyone to like him? I don't know. I'm actually really irritated with him and wish he would just fess up. But I will NEVER ask him what the deal is. I already did that and then he told me why he couldn't date me. IMO, the ball is in his court. HELP!
JS17 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Stop letting him mess with you. This has been going on for a very long time. Move on to someone else who cares about your feelings.
AndrewJ Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 If he keeps up the attention u will have to counter attack his motives. If u dig the fool show him that u dig him but be weary of his tactics.
Walk Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Is he still dating the "casual girl"? If the reason you don't want his attention is because of the other woman, then maybe you could just start asking him all the time how his girlfriend is doing? Maybe that'd get the point across to him?
