freakaleak Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 hi, so me and my gf [in highschool] have been going out for 4 months now>and the first 3 months were spectacular> and we talked how we wouldnt let it get in the way of school to an extreme, but now that school has started and became demanding we lost some time to do stuff together. the past month we slowly had less to say to each other on the fone and everytime we saw each otehr it wasnt as big as an excitment as it was before [we live an hr away from each other, wee see each other once a week off or on]>> we both love each other to death and we recently talked about our problem and i cud tell she was crying, and wen i asked if she wanted to take a break for a month she was totaly against it [i sed it was a last resort] I JUST think that i need to revitalize our relationship, get that spark back into it, we dont want to break up, any ideas to get that spark back into the relationship?????????
konfuzd Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Don't know much about your relationship, but based on your post, I really think you need to focus on school, and not on a LDR. I think you should stop spending so much time on the 'fone' and more time on the books.
Torrent01 Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Ouch, that was harsh but well put. As a senior in highschool myself, I have priorities- 1) academics 2) bodybuilding 3) flirting/dating etc- although I must say, the way teenage girls function mentally at this point is ridiculous. Even with a built frame and solid academic record, the one's I want the most just dont give a ****.... I'm sure being really picky doesn't help but either way, I can't wait for college.
