collegegirl83 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I'm new at this!!! Somebody help me figure out if this guy I met wants just a long distance friendship or a long distance relationship. Heres some info: I am 22yrs. old and met a 23yr. old guy 4 weeks ago in a bar and we totally clicked and both felt like we had known eachother for years. We talked and laughed all night. The problem is he lives 14 hours away, he was here for a convention for school. He told me how he wished we lived near eachother because we would definetly be dating if we were. He told me several times that he was going to call me and even added saying you don't think I will but I'm going to call you. The very next day he did. He has called me 2 or 3 times a week since then and we have great talks. He has said a couple times you should come visit here. I asked him when he is going to come back here. He said that we should make a plan but it probably wasn't going to be too soon in the future. I understand that we are both busy with work and college, but what does this mean? I meet a lot of guys and consider myself an attractive woman, but I am very picky so my friends say, so when I met and really clicked with this guy and he felt the same way I was excited. Have you guys been in a situation like this before or can you guys out there spread some light on what he may be thinking?
LilChicki Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 He could be interested in a "relationship"...but do you really want to have a LDR? They are REALLY hard... Not saying it couldn't work..but it just adds m0re stress than the everyday stresses of a relationship, you know? But the short answer to your question would be...yes I think he is interested in a 'Dating" relationship with you..or he wouldn't be calling you so often. CAUTION: If he does come into town..refrain from being intimate with him right way...hold off.....it never hurts to hold back and see where his true intentions lie. You never know..he could be looking for a booty call if he comes back to town...so just be cautious. Good luck!!
