clynn Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Hi, My current beau have been seeing each other for quite a while now and still neither of are very "romantic". We are good friends and have a close intimate relationship but neither of us is too comfortable with the mushy stuff. That being said, it isn't that I don't feel mushy. I do feel mushy. And this week will mark "1 Year from the day we met" ---- so I figure it might be a good time to try being a bit romantic. I normally don't even mention little anniversaries or anything. But this time I want to acknowledge it. I would like to do it in a sweet simple cute way so as to not be too overwhelming, but also to be clear about my appreciation of my time spent with him. Any ideas?
glittergurl Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Invite him to a nice restaurant. I know men are supposed to do that; but when I first met my husband, I invited him to the coolest restaurant in town. It was sooo nice! It had lots of fountains inside, and the floor was see-through glass above a pool, so we could see fish swimming under us. He was very surprised and loved it It was a classy / calm restaurant, very romantic **sigh** Really, if you're into him, don't be afraid to be "overwhelming". Make it clear.
