starr3546 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 so i lost my cell phone on saturday...so i sent out a mass email yesterday morning really early to everyone on my mailing list to please send me their cell phone numbers. Well i didn't even think about it but R.'s email adress was in there. He sent me back an email with his number nothing more. Why would he does this? We never talked about seeing each other anymore...that is weird! Do u think maybe that is a sign that he wouldn't mind if i called him sometime....i mean if he didn't want to talk to me anymore wouldn't he just not respond...i wouldn't have even noticed that i sent him an email too, until he responded....if u don't know about my story with him, you can read the thread why does it hurt so bad?? please help, and if you read the posts by starr3546 you will understand my story!! I mean if he wanted to break up and let that be it wouldn't he just not email me back and ignore it?
Kengne Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 No it's not strange - if he still wants to be friends with you, still cares about you etc. Your break-up was not hostile. I still think however you should wait for him to contact you, esp being that you are trying to go the NC route. There is absolutely NO reason for you to contact him. Good luck! K.
mini696 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 If I was him, I would only have sent it back if I wanted you to contact me. Otherwise I would have ignored you. It took time and effort (granted not a lot) to reply, so he obviously was concious of what he was doing. Mick

Don't take it as a sign to call him, he'd have said something in his email like "how are you? we should chat" or anything else of that nature if he was lookin to speak with you. I know you want to call him, its clear in your post. But really...dont. He may think that you only sent out the email to see if he would respond. Men are pretty cut & dry, simple creatures. They dont do things like throw hints around, they'll tell you straight up if they want something. Again, if he wanted u to call him he would have said it.

QUOTE] ya i think that is true...i am not planning on calling him, even though i really miss him and want to talk. I might call him in a month or so to see how he is doing...but that is it. I might not even call him at all!! Boy o Boy this sux...
