PA1983 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 My story goes a little like this. I like a girl that goes to my college and I just happen to work with her too. I showed interest in her by letting her know I thought she was cute and she just kind of laughed it off and acted like she wasn't interested. I pretty much accepted the shoot down and just left it alone. I ignored the girl for the most part and kept it friendly over the next few weeks/months. Eventually the girl started showing me more attention a little bit at a time and we even hung out a few times. After hanging out a few times she still didn't seem interested in me but one night we were out at a party and her best friend told me that the girl really liked me. I was happy but didn't really take her words seriously. I did notice that my crush would interupt me evertime I would go and dance with a girl. The next day I asked her friend if the girl really did like me and all she told me was this. "She talks about you a lot and she told me that she gets a funny feeling when she comes into work and knows she's going to see you." "That doesn't mean she likes me." "She's my best friend and how more obvious could it be that she likes you." I called the girl I liked later that night and asked her if what her friend told me was true. She simply laughed it off and said we were just friends. I got pissed and confronted her friend and asked her what's up and she just acted like she didn't do anything wrong. I just left the situation alone and summed it up as bull**** immaturity. To cap up my story I still see the girl everyday and we basically ignore each other. It's very obvious we don't talk. She will call me about once a week still but it will be about something really stupid. I know that some girls just like attention but regardless. I do like the girl but what would you guys do if you were me?
chocolate_boy Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I'd relax a bit, be a bit cocky Don't take it so seriously dude, women like chilled out guys, start hanging around and joking with her again, then ask her to do something fun.. when the time is right make a move on her, you don't have to talk about it... Seriously, treat it as the fun it is, not as some cardinal sin that she liked you then denied it... If you want her, be a man and get her, if not, hey let her step aside cos that gorgeous girl in the queue behind her is missing out.
