kitten chick Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I think the people who read this section might produce skewed results but I'm going to ask anyway..... Say you came home to a plate of fresh chocolate chip cookies sitting on your kitchen table. You aren't hungry since you just had your lunch or dinner. Nobody else is there, nobody will find out if you eat the cookies. What would you do?
quankanne Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 if I knew that others would scarf them down without saving me some, I'd grab a couple and squirrel them away for when I was hungry or had the munchies for them. It's a practice that I fine-tuned here at the office, where sweets don't last long, you grab and stash when you can!!!!
Art_Critic Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 What would you do? I would eat one or two and walk away with one in my hand *edit* I would also eat the one in my hand as soon as I left the room then circle back and do it all over again..
JS17 Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I would eat one or two and walk away with one in my hand *edit* I would also eat the one in my hand as soon as I left the room then circle back and do it all over again.. I'd probably do the same thing! If I was able to control myself I wouldn't eat them. If the calories didn't count then I'd scarf the whole plate!
littlekitty Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I'd eat the fecking cookies!! And I wouldn't worry a jot!!
RainyDayWoman Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I'd eat the fecking cookies!! And I wouldn't worry a jot!! haha, littlekitty, i am so quoting you in my signature.
Blackfrost Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I'd quickly reach into the refridgerator and scarf down 3 jalapeno chilli peppers, hence ruining my mouth and my desire to eat the chocolate chip cookies. If it isn't sunday (the one day I get to eat anything I want) I will refrain, no matter how much I want them.
Outcast Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 if I knew that others would scarf them down without saving me some, I'd grab a couple and squirrel them away for when I was hungry I'm with Quank here. My personal rule is I don't eat unless I'm hungry so I'd keep one or two until I was.
Lonestar Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I'd walk right by and probably not even notice them. I'm not a sucker for sweets unless I'm real hungry and there's no other food around. I'd rather eat a steak and some bread.
kitten chick Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Are there any people out there that wouldn't bother eating them? There is a point to this but I'd like to hear what everyone has to say first.
Lonestar Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Yeah, I just said that. We posted at the same time. Look up.
Art_Critic Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Are there any people out there that wouldn't bother eating them? There is a point to this but I'd like to hear what everyone has to say first. Damn Kitten Chick.. if that is you in your avatar ...purrrrrr !!
TUDOR Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Damn Kitten Chick.. if that is you in your avatar ...purrrrrr !! I second that!!!

Say you came home to a plate of fresh chocolate chip cookies sitting on your kitchen table. You aren't hungry since you just had your lunch or dinner. Nobody else is there, nobody will find out if you eat the cookies. What would you do? Whose kitchen is it? I assume that when you say nobody will see you, it means they are not mine Well, then I guess, I very likely wouldn't eat them. It might happen, but it's not that likely. You never know whose cookies these are.
TUDOR Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 To ansewer the question I dont' have much of sweet tooth so I could refrain especially if I wasn't all that hungry. Now if I were hungry or the wife had it laying on her naked body waiting for me to eat...then yes I would eat it!!
FataMorgana Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Say you came home to a plate of fresh chocolate chip cookies sitting on your kitchen table. You aren't hungry since you just had your lunch or dinner. Nobody else is there, nobody will find out if you eat the cookies. What would you do? I'd wonder where did they come from? and why? None else living with me who would do such a thing ... Don't think I'd eat any of them, not so fond of chocolate so if someone was trying to nicely surprise me ...they picked the wrong type of cookies
Ms_Sweetness Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I wouldn't eat them if I weren't hungry and if I were I would ask first to find out their purpose.
littlekitty Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 haha, littlekitty, i am so quoting you in my signature. Thanks RDW!!!!
kitten chick Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Ok well it looks like anyone who is going to answer has. Supposedly the cookie question is a quick test to see if you are addicted to sugar. I wanted to see if there were people who would really walk by a plate of cookies, I know I never could! It's hard for me to believe that anyone could pass that up the way I could walk by a top grade steak. I needed to see if it was possible and there were a few people who seemed like they would.

Guess it all depends on the cookie....I don't have much of a sweet tooth and I have to be in the mood for chocolate and don't eat it much. But if an oatmeal rasin cooke was on the bar, that would be a different story all together!
littlekitty Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Completely addicted to sugar... and my answer confirmed that 100%!!!
