Did my gf give me an unreasonable condition?

Part of this conundrum is caused by you asking for so many opinions....the more ideas you get, the more confused you are.   It's really up to you to think about the pros and cons of each view, figure out what you want and ask for the help you need to make it happen.

Well I think the best thing to do would be to buy a house once I get a better paying job, and maybe convince my gf of that rather than moving in with her before getting a better paying job.  I see her point that living together is a good test for the relationship to be taken to the next level, but I wouldn't want to do it for too long, without a higher paying job, because if I had that, then I could do the living together test but also shop for a house.
