He’s not interested in you or consider you to be  “the one” since he didn’t bring you to his parents.

If he's been with you for a year, he's got to be at least somewhat interested.

Has there been talk about the future?

Who knows? Lots of possibilities. Maybe he does think you’re the one, but is embarrassed about his parents and doesn’t want you to run?

Can I say that crossing the one year mark, if a boyfriend didn’t bring you to his parents or friends, more or less he’s not interested?

I agree that there could be a number of reasons:

1. he's not close to his family and doesn't have friends

2. he doesn't see a future with you

3. he's embarrassed of his parents

Are you talking about the same guy from your first post, OP?

Yes. But this is more of a general question. I hope to avoid wasting time on the wrong person in the future. It’s essential to know, with some clarity in the head when something is amiss.

Generally speaking, yes, it's a bad sign if you have never met a guy's friends or any family members after a year.

I am sure you already know this though, no?

Ok I should be cursing him; he used my youthful years on him.

Thank you! I wish I would have gotten such advice long time before!

No, the parents have nothing to do with it after a certain age.  He doesn't need their permission.

But if she’s really important to him, he would want people whom are important in his life to know, right? Rather than keeping her under the carpet like some dust?

Yes, she would at least be introduced to his friends.  Who are you talking about?

You had a relationship that did not work out.  It's happened to everybody on this site.   No need for cursing.
