Akashsingh Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 I have seen this girl at a nearby hyatt where I usually go to have coffee. I initially showed interest in her and then backed off. She quit her job and then rejoined. Shes been trying to be nice to me. I kind of kept things formal. One day when there were few people I wanted to start a conversation on purpose I asked her if she was from Italy. She opened up quite nicely and said she was german and japanese mix and also said "thank you for asking". After that I saw her once more and she was super nice to me. I wanted to ask her out . How do I do it without being ackward?
Wiseman2 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Unfortunately, it's her job to be personable to you. People in these types of service positions also make tips. You could try asking her out, but she may get that rather frequently and knows how to handle it.
Author Akashsingh Posted July 29, 2022 Author Posted July 29, 2022 Theres many female baristas that work there. While they are friedly, this girl seemed really happy that I had asked her a question.
letotron454 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Aside from her being friendly and that one conversation, has there been any other interactions that could suggest her being interested in going out?
glows Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 If it got back to her boss that she was flirting too much or making things uncomfortable for patrons she may get a warning. Unfortunately this awkward situation is up to you to shoot your blind shot. I don’t recommend it as she is working and required to be friendly with customers. You could be misinterpreting her politeness. If by some chance you do ask her out and she says no, let it go and don’t keep going back to the restaurant to look for her. I hope you have an alternative place to get coffee.
smackie9 Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Ask her out, and be straight forward about it. When you show confidence, there is no awkwardness. 1
