blonde Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Hi again ... ive had a few posts on here regarding being dumped by Mark after I pushed him away and he met someone new ... a week ago he confirmed to me that it was all over ... he loves me desperately ... he was so torn .. but he couldnt go back ... blah blah blah ... so i said righto ... you've made ur decision ... please dont contact me again ... goodbye ... and that was that i deleted him from my phones, email, msn and icq (however i didnt put him on "ignore" on icq ... i wasnt ready for that ... just deleted him from my list so i couldnt see him) ... tonight ... one week later ... he messages me on icq (obviously he hasnt deleted me from HIS list) and says "hi" ... i didnt reply another message comes through ... "how's the new job going" ... i didnt reply again oh i so wanted to! but i didnt! not one word ... i would love to hear some opinions as to whether or not u feel it would be appropriate to send him a msg saying something along the lines of "please dont contact me again unless you want me back" ... or "not enough ... don't contact me again unless you have something positive to tell me" etc etc or should i just forget it and see if he messages me again ... obviously i am still in his thoughts ... thanks for your assistance xxxxx J Dub ... if ur out there ... HELP!! lol lol
heartnsoul Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I admire your strength!! You're doing the right thing and no, you don't need to tell him AGAIN to stop contacting you. If he truly wants to make amends he won't give up. He'll only get more persistant with you ignoring him. He does need to work harder if his goal is to win you back but don't make it easy. I had to suffer a minor set back to realize that. If he wants you back, you'll know without a doubt! Good luck and best wishes

Because he thinks you'll miss him enough to cave in, and he wants to make sure you are still sticking around. 2. Nor should it be. 3. Remember that hurt, and draw from that to get your strength to continue on with 'no contact' and take it a step further by blocking him so that he can't contact you. 4. Keep sending him that clear message by continueing 'no contact'.
