Lana Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I know this varies from person to person but was wondering what the general feedback would be.. How often do you see your bf/gf? (granted that u don't live together) How often do you speak to your bf/gf on the phone, by text etc?
Its Not A Tumaaa Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 - I've seen my girlfriend every day and night since we've been together. She sleeps at my house. - I don't call much since she's either working, I'm working, or we're with each other. Usually texting.

With my current one who is not a bf (been on 1 date), he's been already calling me several times a day and he called 5 minutes after we ended the date. Now that is a drag and a turn off.
nosybear819 Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I talk to the guy I'm dating at least once a day however if I'm busy or I know that his day is gonna be busy then I'll call before I go to sleep or just won't call that day at all. When you're in/pursuing a relationship though one person shouldn't be doing all the calling - making all the effort, you know? Sometimes I call if I'm just thinking of him. As far as us seeing each other though it's hard cuz we both work a lot and have conflicting schedules so I see him like once maybe twice every couple of weeks...sometimes if we're lucky we can see each other once a week.

HoldOn Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Every relationship is different. When my fiance and I lived in the same town, we had standing dates on Tuesday and Saturday nights. Now we live 2.5 hours apart and TRY to see each other every weekend. We speak on the phone about every other day. I think that seeing too much of each other is more risky than seeing too little of each other. Also, it is a bad sign if you are seeing each other every freaking day and you've been dating less than six months or so. because one of you is going to get sick of it. It will be too much too soon. But of course, as I stated above, every relationship is different. I don't really have anything to say to my fiance every single day. It also gives us a chance to miss each other a little.
Gold Pile Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Talking about real GF's here, not Gold digger quickies. 2 that I couldn't see much, I talked with one a couple times a week. The other most every night. Never more than 1x a day. The calls could be very long.

We communicate (text, im or phone) when we need/want to - so that is usually multiple times a day - but sometimes (infrequently) if we are busy, we don't. We see eachother every single weekend and generally at least once during the week, as our plans dictate.

We always have something to talk about, be it family, work, our past, hopes for the future, or just the tiniest inconsequentials. I have never been so open to anyone, he is so sincere. OK now im just getting too mushy.
