The other day I got a message on the Tinder app.  I haven't been active on it for a bit now but saw I got a message.  This guy and I were chatting many weeks ago but one day he went poof.  No hard feelings, just wasn't meant to be and that's that.  But since I got a message I checked and it was him again.  He said "Sorry I disappeared for a bit, I went to jail for a DUI."

I respect his honesty, at least. Something like this happened to me once. We were talking, she disappeared, I forgot about her. She messaged me months or years later, gave me her number, I realized I already had it saved from the previous conversation. I told her this and asked why she disappeared last time, and why I should even bother with her this time, she said "Oh yeah, I messaged you when I broke up with my husband, but then we got back together. Sorry about that. I'm single now."

And Tinder is primarily considered a hookup site anyway, not for finding a serious relationship, so would that matter a great deal?  Hopefully you'd Uber around with him.
