Odds are he's being using during your entire relationship so if you were going to see dysfunctional behavior you would've seen it by now. Some can use illicit substances in moderation. Others cannot. I've never used, but know people that use drugs and how someone manages drug use depends on the person. Some are extremely high functioning and others are addicts. There is not one big group of drug users that are the dregs of society. There are drug users that are extraordinarily successful in life, some that are moderately successful, and others that aren't doing so well in life. It doesn't really sound like you'll ever be ok with this though, it sounds like you're trying to convince yourself otherwise. Edited February 8, 2022 by dramafreezone
